Promita Bhattacharya is an acclaimed Indian filmmaker known for her sharp storytelling, emotional depth, and visual finesse. With over 15 years of experience in the Indian film industry, she has worked across mainstream Hindi cinema and regional Bengali content. An alumna of the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, Promita began her journey under the mentorship of director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra as part of his core directing team at ROMP Pictures.
