Global Producers is a full service production company coordinating international shoots across multiple countries. Our production services bring together budget preparation, scheduling, location coordination, crew and equipment bookings, supplier arrangements and production reporting within an agreed appointment.
A full-service appointment identifies the work we manage, the responsibilities retained by the commissioning producer and the services delivered by appointed local providers. Creative development, post-production and final deliverables are included only where expressly agreed.
Full-Service Film Production Company: What the Appointment Covers
The appointment is written around the production in hand rather than a standard package. For a typical assignment it covers:
- Assessment of the brief, followed by a working budget and schedule built on stated assumptions.
- Recce of the proposed locations and the practical requirements each one carries.
- Coordination of crew, equipment and suppliers in each country, from quotation to booking.
- Scheduling that accounts for permission-dependent dates and the local arrangements behind them.
- Shoot management, cost reporting during filming and reconciliation at completion.
The appointment distinguishes supplier enquiries from authorised bookings and signed contracts. It identifies who can approve expenditure, who confirms each booking and which entity enters into the supplier agreement.
International Production Services Across Countries
Our international production services are delivered through production contacts appointed for each country, each with named responsibilities for the leg they handle. Local supplier quotations are gathered in the currency they are issued in, and the consolidated estimate records the conversion basis and date so that movements can be traced rather than absorbed.
Location, equipment and crew requirements are assessed separately for each country. The proposed production locations and country coverage inform the schedule, including what travels with the unit and what is sourced locally. The appointment identifies country contacts, approval responsibilities and the reporting required by the commissioning producer.
The appointment distinguishes services managed directly by Global Producers from those delivered by appointed local providers, with responsibilities identified for each country.

From the Production Brief to Shoot Delivery
Preparation starts with the production brief and the requirements of each proposed country. The brief is assessed for format, dates, locations, deliverables and the departments travelling. Outstanding requirements are identified and listed with their owner: a location still under enquiry, a permission still to be applied for, a supplier still to quote. Estimates are prepared on the assumptions the brief allows and revised as those items close.
Once the commissioning producer approves the working budget, bookings are confirmed within the agreed authority and the schedule is reissued to everyone working from it. During filming, full service production means the local arrangements, supplier arrivals and daily movements are coordinated against that schedule, and proposed changes are recorded with their known or estimated cost and timing effects and referred for approval within the agreed authority. At completion the records, reconciliation and any outstanding items are handed over.
Production Company, Line Producer and Film Fixer Responsibilities
Within the appointment, line producers coordinate the agreed budget, schedule and supplier commitments, while film fixers and location scouting support location assessment and local arrangements. Where the commissioning production brings its own line producer, the scope identifies the responsibilities retained by that person.

Comparing Full Service Production Companies
When comparing full service production companies, compare the appointments rather than the names. Check what each scope includes and, as importantly, what it excludes; which responsibilities are assigned to named people and which are left with the production; the basis on which the quotation was prepared and the assumptions it carries; how third-party costs are passed through and evidenced; what spending authority the company holds and where it stops; and how often, and in what form, costs and changes are reported. Two proposals for the same brief can differ in total because one carries the recce, the regional moves and the wrap reconciliation inside the appointment and the other leaves them outside it.

Agreeing Scope, Costs and Deliverables
The appointment begins with the production format, the countries and dates, and the deliverables expected. It then records the preparation and filming responsibilities in each country, the distinction between our fees and third-party expenditure, how changes are approved and reported, and any post-production work that has been separately agreed.
Engaged as a full-service production partner, Global Producers works to that document: what it covers is managed and reported; what it does not cover is referred to the production before any commitment is made.
